ITINERARY
Day 1 Saturday: Quito.
On your arrival in Quito you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 Sunday: Flight Quito- Baltra/Santa Cruz Island/Highlands
Am. After breakfast, we will drive you to the airport to board your flight to Baltra where you will start your cruise aboard the Yacht Coral I or II after a short drive to the harbor.
Transfer to Itabaca Channel which you have to cross by ferry. After, you will pass through the highlands of Santa Cruz from north to south. On the way, you will cross the different vegetation zones of this fascinating island. Those vary from lower dry zones with many cactuses to scalesia- woods in the humid highland. There you will explore one of the enormously complex lava tunnels, which are approximately 2 km long. During a visit of a hacienda in the highlands you can observe the Galapágos giant tortoises in their natural habitat.

Day 3 Monday: Española Island – Suarez Point - Gardener Bay
Española is the southernmost and oldest island of the Galápagos archipelago. Because of its isolated position you can explore a lot of endemic wildlife. In the morning you will have an excursion to Point Suarez which is one of the most outstanding wildlife areas of the archipelago, with a long list of species found along its cliffs and sand or pebble beaches. In addition to five species of nesting seabirds there are the curious and bold Española Island mockingbirds, Galapagos doves and Galapagos hawks. Several types of reptiles, including the marine iguana and the oversized lava lizard, are unique to this island. When heavy swells are running, Point Suarez is also the site of a spectacular blowhole, with thundering spray shooting 30 yards into the air. The walkabout on a stony path is about 2km (duration about 3 hours). Gardener Bay is on the eastern shore with turquoise shot coloured water and a magnificent beach. Around the small islets nearby, snorkelers will find lots of fish and sometimes turtles and sharks. The bay is also frequented by a transient colony of sea lions which like to swim with you. Birds, like the endemic Hood-Mockingbird and different species of Darwin finches, are omnipresent.

Day 4 Tuesday: Floreana Island – Cormorant Point – Champions - Post Office Bay
Floreana Island is perceived as one of the most exotic Island of the archipelago. At Cormorant Point you land on a green olivine sand beach. Following a 100 m long path you will soon reach a lagoon with flamingoes, white-checked pintail ducks and other shorebirds. Afterwards there is a great snorkelling or swimming at Champions Islet. The underwater world there is various with riff sharks, starfishes, marine turtles, sea lions and additional tropical ornamental fishes.
In the afternoon you will visit the famous Post Office Bay which keeps the legendary post barrel that whalers historically used to post their mail in. Nowadays you can leave a letter and hope that it will make its destination via another tourist.

Day 5 Wednesday: Island North Seymour / Island Santa Cruz – Flight to Quito.
After a dry landing, you will have a short walk along the coast of the northernmost island of Seymour. Guests will encounter swallow tailed gulls, sea lions and cliff crabs. This site is also known for being a major nesting colony of blue footed boobies, and the largest colony of the magnificent frigate bird, a species different to the great frigate bird.
You can also spot both endemic species of iguanas, the marine iguanas and land iguanas. You will enjoy this relaxing hike around the nesting sites.
Transfer to the airport for flight to Quito.
Arrival in Quito, transfer to your Hotel.
Overnight in Quito.

Day 6 Thursday: Quito City Tour and Mitad del Mundo.
Morning: After breakfast we will start our Quito city tour which includes visits to the “ Guapulo Mirador”, passing through the 12th of October Avenue up to the Culture House and the Legislative Palace (Congress) where the rock murals that are related to the history of Ecuador can be appreciated.
Then we go on through the Gran Colombia Avenue up to the Basilica Church, here we will have short stop at the “San Juan Mirador” having a beautiful view of Colonial Quito.
We continue our tour, walking through the colonial streets stopping at the Independence Plaza admiring the Cathedral, the Government’s Palace, and the archiepiscopal palace. Then we will visit La Compañia Church where many adornments and golden altars are admired. Then we visit San Francisco Cathedral which was built in the XVII century. Next we travel out of the city to visit Mitad del Mundo, the Equatorial marker where the northern and southern hemispheres meet. Your tour includes a visit to the excellent ethnographic museum where you get an overview of the Ecuador's amazing cultural diversity.
Evening: Flight Quito - Lima.
Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Lima.
On arrival at Lima international airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Evening: Overnight in Lima.
Day 7 Friday: Flight Lima Cusco (11,150 ft).
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your early morning flight to Cusco.
On arrival at Cusco airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel, located in the center of Cuzco; you will have time to rest and adjust to the altitude.
Afternoon: Private tour of Cusco and nearby Inca Ruins.
14:00: Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and show you the highlights of Cusco, the colonial cathedral, the great temple of Korikancha and the 4 impressive Inca ruins around Cusco: Sacsayhuaman, with its massive walls, Qenko, site of carved living rock, Puca Pucara, an Inca lodging Site & Tambo Machay, known as the Baths of the Inca. Evening: Overnight in Cusco.

Day 8 Saturday: Private tour of the Incas’ sacred valley.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your and driven to the Incas’ sacred valley, visiting the famous Indian Market of Pisac where you'll be able to interact with the local families or buy handicraft, souvenirs, learn about the local culture, see the native villages and have a guided tour of Ollantaytambo Fortress, an incredible Royal Inca site where the Incas made one of their last stands against the Spanish.
Evening: Overnight in the valley of the Incas (9,100 ft).

Day 9 Sunday: Machu Picchu by train.
Morning: you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Ollantaytambo train station to board the Vista dome train which will take you to Aguas Calientes (the base town of Machu Picchu).
Private guided tour of Machu Picchu (8,200 ft)
On your arrival at the train station your guide will pick you up and take a 25 minute bus journey to Machu Picchu, the most impressive and mysterious Inca Site where you will have a private guided tour and learn about the history of this site, who lived here, how it was discovered in modern times and why the Spaniards never found it. You will have some insight into the various features of this sacred city and have free time to really enjoy yourself alone in this spectacularly located site, an unforgettable experience that will stay with you forever!
Afternoon: Train journey back to Cusco.
On your arrival at Cusco train station you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel.
Evening: Overnight in Cusco.

Day 10 Monday: Flight Cusco – Lima.
Transfer to the airport to board your morning flight to Lima.
On arrival at Lima airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to Miraflores, the bustling, cosmopolitan area of the city from where you will start you afternoon Lima tour.
Lima Tour:
We will drive you downtown into the city of the Kings; our English speaking guide will do his best for you to know Lima: the Plaza de Armas, with the baroque cathedral, the Palacio de Gobierno (Governors Palace), the Archbishop's Palace with its big carved wooden balconies, and the convent of San Francisco, whose bright yellow facade covers a grisly secret. Underneath the convent lie extensive catacombs that served as the cemetery for the whole of Lima during the colonial period!
Evening: International Flight.
Transfer to the airport to board your flight back home.
